Why was the D360 created?

Breakdowns in the innovation process often happen not through failure in process or method, but because of a mis-alignment of individual strengths against different phases of the process or teams lacking or misunderstanding their particular mix of strengths.

The D360 was created to support individuals and teams in the avoidance of these kinds of breakdowns, but also in the radical enhancement of innovation that is unlocked through individual and team alignment of strengths and method and approach.  

How was the D360 developed?

The D360 was developed by leading design experts who have worked at the Design Council, the Royal College of Art, and have led design and innovation projects for top global institutions, from Google to Unilever to SAP to Cartier.

Through these experiences we've seen the need for ways help individuals and teams understand how their personal strengths line up across innovation processes.

The approach has been tested across teams and in private design and innovation coaching with individual contributors and leaders alike.
